Ben's day started out by opening some presents from Mum & Dad, then Adam & I took Ben swimming. He took to the water like a duck, which surprised us all a little. He did cling to me very tightly though. Finally when he did get the courage to let go he kept repeating "daddy protect me". Quite cute.

In the evening we took him to a BBQ Buffet at the Nan HU (South Lake) Hotel, with Adam & Becky, Xiao Qing (Little Sun) his girlfriend, her mother and Stanley (our boss) and his daughter. It was a great evening, and Ben seemed to thoroughly enjoy the whole day, especially the birthday cake and the karaoke at the end of dinner.
